Opened it’s doors on November 2016, the McAllen Performing Arts Center has quickly become the premier venue that presents a wide variety of nationally recognized productions of music, dance and theater to the people of South Texas.

Veterans’ War Memorial of Texas
Standing at the center of the memorial is the 105 foot high “American Spire of Honor.” The five-sided, black granite structure is a physical embodiment of the gratitude of the American people for the 1.3 million members of the armed forces who have lost their lives throughout all of our nation’s history.

SPACE X – The space era for Brownsville!
The SpaceX South Texas launch site is located near Boca Chica Beach, approximately 32 km east of Downtown Brownsville (or less than 10 miles from Brownsville City Limits). When conceptualized, its purpose was "to provide SpaceX an exclusive launch site that would allow the company to accommodate its launch manifest and meet tight launch windows."
